These cat-like animals are mostly common around mountains and survive well in cold surroundings. As they are highly aggressive they will immediately try to pounce at you once you come in their sights. As they inhabit most of the "higher level" area' it is best to avoid them until you are able to fend for yourself. They mostly walk in pairs but can in rare cases be found in groups of up to six. Those that spawn closer to the shorelines (mostly near beaches around the mountains) will tend to spawn alone, though sometimes come in pairs. This comes in handy if you are thinking about taming one, but you should still proceed with caution. As they spawn near the most dangerous environments once one does appear it will start attacking almost anything nearby, usually resulting in their demise. Packs can often be found and are a decimating force on both other mountain wildlife and unequipped players.

   

Dodos are basically the chickens of the ARK, they will waddle around at an abysmal movement speed with no intentions, and have very little health. When a Dodo is attacked, it will not fight back. Instead, it and nearby Dodos will attempt to flee, though their slow movement speed usually makes them easy prey. If the player takes an egg from a wild Dodo, however, it will attack. Dodos will also occasionally get stuck on driftwood. Dodos are commonly found along beaches and open woodland with thick undergrowth or bamboo, but can also occasionally be found on open plains and near rivers.  

   

Carnotaurus pressor is an interesting creature that falls between medium and large predator. It lives primarily on flat clear ground, where it can capitalize on its speed. Additionally, it seems to have no qualms about running from larger predators instead of fighting.  

   

The Trike is not aggressive. When attacked, it charges at the enemy and bucks it with its heads. Their bucking attack knocks the enemy back, which can make Trikes much more dangerous near cliffs or steep hills. The amount of knockback is significantly influenced by the enemy's weight. However, This attack can be easily dodged.  

   

Mammoths are herd animals, meaning that if one gets attacked, any other nearby Mammoths come charging in and start attacking what attacked them. If you attacked one by accident and you dont want to fight just run a few meters, they will stop chasing you after just a few seconds.  

   

Parasaurolophus amphibio has some of the more interesting adaptions of all Creatures I've seen on the Island. Like all parasaur it has a signature head ridge. Very docile at first, I've often been able to approach them without complaint. If startled, however, the Parasaur immediately runs - very far and very fast.  

   

Utahraptor prime is an incredibly aggressive species of Utahraptor found on the island. It tends to travel in small hunting packs, attacking smaller prey with its sharp teeth or enlarged foreclaws.
